What Is The Actual Cause Of Ct State Trooper Brian Mohl Death

Connecticut state trooper Brain Mohl’s actual cause of death was from drowning.

His patrol SUV was swept away in the Pomperaug river’s flood early Thursday, September 2, 2021.

He had broadcasted a distress signal from his SUV after the water level started growing rapidly consuming his vehicle.

A massive emergency response was launched after troopers received the distress signal including several fire departments, helicopters, and troopers. They first pinged Brian’s phone to locate the SUV. But he was not inside the vehicle and was found hours later in the river.

After a massive search of five hours, the response team located a semi-submerged SUV, and Brian was flown to the Yale-New Haven hospital but he died while on the route to the hospital according to Eyewitness News.
