The Lantz family stated on Facebook that they were deeply saddened to have to inform you that Tyler died away on the morning of February 6, 2023.

A Boise State University alumnus has passed away. Longtime Boise, Idaho resident Tyler Lantz died unexpectedly after a brief illness. The Mountain View High School student was declared dead after battling an unspecified disease.

At the Boise Depot, a memorial service will start at 2:24 p.m. on February 24. Everyone, including friends and family, expressed their sorrow and memories of Tyler Lantz and their condolences on social media.

Boise, Idaho houses Boise State Institution, a public research university. The Episcopal Church was established in 1932, and in 1934 it became a junior college on its own. It has been awarding bachelor’s and master’s degrees since 1965. It became a publicly funded institution in 1969.
