Thomas Richard Coughlin (born August 31, 1946) is an American football coach who is currently head coach for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Coughlin led the Giants to victory in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI. Coughlin was also the inaugural head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, serving from 1995–2002 and leading the team to two AFC Championship Games.
