Stephen Christopher Spagnuolo (/spæ??n??l?/, Italian pronunciation: [spa???w?lo]; born December 21, 1959) is an American football coach who was hired as a senior defensive assistant by the Baltimore Ravens on May 3, 2013. He was previously the head coach of the St. Louis Rams from January 2009 to January 2012. He was also defensive coordinator of the New York Giants from January 2007 to January 2009 and the New Orleans Saints in 2012, and also served for eight years under defensive coordinator Jim Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles.
