Martha Jenkins is the wife of American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Alabama’s 5th congressional district since 2011 Mo Brooks.

Martha and Brooks got married in 1976.

Brooks met his then wife to be Martha at Duke University, North Carolina, in the mid-1970s.

Martha and Brooks are proud parents of two sons and two daughters; Jay, Thomas, Rachel and Chelsie.

Daughter Rachel Brooks is married to Walter Olsen and together they have five children.

Son, Thomas Brooks, studied MS aerospace systems engineering at UA Huntsville.

Thomas Brooks is married and is the father of two children, according to Wagcenter.

Their mother Martha graduated from the University of Alabama with an accounting degree and later retired as a certificated public accountant.

Martha also obtained a Math and education major from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2005.

Martha taught Math at Whitesburg Middle School in Huntsville, Alabama.

Their dad Brooks is a member of the Republican Party, and a founding member of the Freedom Caucus.

On March 22, 2021, Brooks announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Richard Shelby in 2022.

Brooks’ candidacy was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, but Trump rescinded his endorsement in March 2022.
