Mike joined SEGA in 2004 and has overseen the tenfold growth in the company, evolving from a games console manufacturer to a multiplatform software developer and publisher. Mike was heavily involved in the acquisitions of both Sports Interactive and The Creative Assembly and has further moved the business towards a more digital-based strategy.

Hayes was engaged with the limitation of Starcraft at Blizzard Entertainments in 1998. From 2002 to 2003, he was credited in various Codemasters games for a job in open relations. During the late 1980s, Mike was utilized by General Foods (destined to be purchased by Kraft), where he was a Brand Manager and afterward Marketing Manager on their pastries items including Angel Delight and Bird’s Custard. It is obscure where he was utilized at that point and 2001.
