Kenny Payne Children: Who Is Kenny Payne’s Son Alexander Payne?

Kenneth Victor Payne is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head mens basketball coach at the University of Louisville.

Prior to being hired at Louisville, Kenny Payne spent 2 seasons as assistant coach for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association.

A 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) and 195 lb (88 kg) small forward, Kenny Payne played college basketball at the University of Louisville and was a member of Louisville’s 1986 NCAA championship squad.

Kenny Payne was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 19th pick of the 1989 NBA draft.

On March 16th, 2022, it was first announced by Jeremy Wahman of Cardinal Sports Zone that Payne had accepted the job at his Alma mater Louisville to be the new head mens basketball coach. Payne was introduced at a press conference on March 17th, 2022.

Kenny Payne and his wife Michelle have two children.

One of his children, Alexander Payne, nicknamed Zan, is a player for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team.
