Justice4thehintts: Andrew Hintt Murder – Where Is Alize Smith Now? Sons Ben and Bass

In the first degree murders of Andrew Hintt, and his two young boys, Alize Q. Smith, 24, is accused of killing Andrew Hintt, 31, and his two boys, Benjamin, 7, and Sebastian, 5, on December 19, according to Boone County State’s Attorney Tricia Smith.

Alize is being detained in the Boone County Jail without bail. On Thursday, he is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing.

He faces 20 to 60 years in jail on each count if convicted, with the possibility of more.

Andrew Hintt Murder – Where Is Alize Smith Now?

According to Belvidere Police, Alize Q. Smith has been charged with three charges of first-degree murder of Andrew Hintt and his sons. He is presently being detained without bond at the Boone County Jail.

Chief Shane Woody of the Belvidere Police Department said the department has done an extensive investigation and that it is a key priority of his.

Smith was scheduled to appear in court for the first time on January 6.

Belvidere Mayor Clint Morris also extended his sympathies to the Hintt family, saying that justice must be done in order for the town to heal.

Hintt’s silver 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Track Hawk with Illinois license plate CT92923 is still missing, according to police.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Belvidere Police.

Andrew’s aunt, Theresa Hintt Thompson, tells 13 News that the family is relieved Smith has been charged.

She said she is unsure if Smith will be able to fully compensate her for what he has done.

About Andrew Hintt’s sons, Sebastian and Benjamin, their great-grandparents stated that their great-grandsons enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, Minecraft video games, and Legos.

Vernnon, Andrew’s grandparent was the last person to see the boys alive since they were with him and other family members earlier on Sunday at his home.

Andrew Hintt homicide case left the entire world shook. On Smith’s first court visit, it was unclear whether he has a counsel who could speak on his behalf.

He was detained for a parole violation last month, and Belvidere police identified him as a person of interest in the deaths.

Smith spent part of December 19 with Hintt and his boys at Hintt’s Belvidere residence, according to police. They were found shot to death at their home about 70 miles (110 kilometres) northwest of Chicago on the same day.

According to the State’s Attorney for Boone County, Alize Smith faces life in prison without the possibility of parole on each count of first-degree murder.

Following that, the Judge also said that  Alize Smith risks a mandatory life sentence if convicted of murdering two or more persons.
