Ivan Terriquez Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

The unfortunate loss of a dearly admired music director has shocked Bedford, Texas neighbourhood and Harwood Junior High School.

According to his family, Ivan Terriquez, from Temecula, California, passed away around 3:30 on Saturday. At the Harwood Junior High School, 3000 Martin Dr., Bedford, Texas, he was a member of the musical group.

Ivan passed away in the early morning, about 3:30 am, and the reasons for his passing remain unknown. His family has not commented on it.

When they decide, the family will make the specifics of the obituary and his funeral rites known.

Ivan Terriquez graduated from Euless Trinity High School, Tarrant County College, and Texas Christian University.

Ivan played the saxophone at TCU, displaying his love of music there. His love of music made everyone around him happy and demonstrated his talent and commitment to his trade.

The passing of Ivan Terriquez deeply saddens me. He was my former student, my assistant, my co-worker, my friend and part of my family. Ivan was such a positive influence on everyone that knew him. He would do anything to help those that needed it. A smile was always included. Joy was the absolute best word to describe Ivan.

Ivan was my daughter Kate’s second father at school, and she is heartbroken. He would often sit on the floor and help her with homework or sit there and visit about teenage girl drama.

To Lucy Renz and Ivan’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you are going through. You have a whole band family here to support you. Please let me know what we can do!

To my Harwood family, we will work through this together and support each other. This is what the Harwood Band is about. The band is more than playing instruments and making beautiful music.
