Danielle Fishel parents: Meet Jennifer Fishel & Rick Fishel

Danielle Fishel’s talent and appeal were noticed by the entertainment industry. She appeared on the December 1998 cover of Seventeen, and in 1998, she won the Young Star Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Comedy TV Series for her work on Boy Meets World.

Teen People selected her as one of “The 21 Hottest Stars Under 21” in June 1999. In addition, GQ’s October 1997 issue named Fishel as one of the hottest stars to watch. She was featured in the music video for the song “Until You Loved Me” by the Canadian band The Moffatts.

After Boy Meets World ended, Fishel continued to make strides in television. In 2003, she co-hosted the inaugural season of MTV’s Say What Karaoke. She has tried her hand at acting, making cameos in several movies, including National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze.

In 2006, Fishel made appearances in three made-for-DVD films: National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze 2, in which she reprised her role as “Marla” from the first film, Gamebox 1.0, an action film in which she played two roles, and The Chosen One, an independent animated film in which she provided the voice of the title character.

In 2006, when a guest on The Tyra Banks Show, Fishel made a point of highlighting the significant weight loss she had achieved as a result of the Nutrisystems Diet. As a result of her appearance, she was appointed as a spokesperson for Nutrisystem.
