The Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Head Quarter Meghalaya Frontier BSF, Umpling, Shillong will be conducting Walk-in-Interviews for all eligible candidates who wish to get selected in the posts of Specialist Doctor and GDMOs (General Duty Medical Officers) respectively. For Specialist Doctor: Rs 75100 (in ‘A’ Class cities); Rs 71932 (in ‘B’ Class cities); Rs 68763 (in Unclassified Areas)
For General Duty Medical Officers: Rs 62213 (in ‘A’ Class cities); Rs 59588 (in ‘B’ Class cities); Rs 56963 (in Unclassified Areas)
More Details of BSF Recruitment-
Requirements of Eligibility:
For Specialist Doctors: a recognized medical qualification included in first or second schedule or Part II of third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 or PG Degree/ Diploma in concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule- VI or equivalent with experience of one and a half years for PG Degree Holders and 2 and a half years for Diploma Holders in concerned specialty post qualification.
For GDMO: a recognized medical qualification included in first or second schedule or Part II of third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 OR Holders of educational qualification included in Part II or third schedules as specified in Sub Section (3) of section (13) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and completion of compulsory rotating internship.

Age Bar:
The ages of all candidates applying in the recruitment concerned must not exceed 67 years as on the date of closing applications.
Manner of Selection:
The eligible and short listed applicants will go through interview and medical examination for recruitment in the posts mentioned.
Application Procedure:
The applicants must participate in the interview on scheduled date and time for applying to concerned recruitment.
