Ashley Morrison Suicide: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

There has been a significant loss for the cat rescue community, specifically the TNR community. Ashley Morrison, of Youngest Old Cat Woman and Ashley’s Kitten School, committed suicide after a protracted struggle on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

In a message published on Facebook on Sunday, the Seattle-based cat rescuer and founder of Ashley’s Kitten Academy, Ashley Morrison, was confirmed to have passed away. Ashley and her father both had a mental illnesses. He committed suicide in 2015, and Ashley did the same thing on Thursday.

The burial rites were not mentioned in any detail. Everyone is heartbroken and distraught about Ashley’s passing; they are already grieving and remembering the lovely soul and have expressed their condolences to her on social media.

For many years, Ashley Morrison has been providing foster care for animals. She began caring for her first “bottle babies” in 2015, kittens needing 24-hour care.

As the “Youngest Old Cat Woman,” she shared resources and raised awareness of the most vulnerable feline population, imparting knowledge and happiness.

She graduated from the college she attended with a bachelor of arts in 2016, concentrating in media and communications. Despite her difficulties, she knew she wanted to use her media skills to spread the love and joy that those foster kittens had brought her.
